These are the terms that apply to this website and to any appointment you ask us for. They are written in plain English on purpose - if something is unclear, call 252-259-4444 and we will explain it.

What this website is

This site describes the water testing and water treatment services offered by Ideal Water Treatments in New Bern and eastern North Carolina. It is information, not a binding offer.

Appointment requests

• Filling in a form or calling us is a request for a free in-home water test. It does not commit you to buy anything.
• Appointments are confirmed by phone or email, and the visit is arranged at a time that suits you.
• You can cancel or move an appointment at any time by calling 252-259-4444.

Testing and quotations

• The free test tells us what is actually in your water. The quotation is then based on your water and your home, in writing.
• Prices shown or discussed on this site are general and can change with the condition of the water, the plumbing and the equipment chosen. The written quotation is the figure that counts.
• A written quotation is valid for 12 months from the date on it.

Results and expectations

Water conditions vary from house to house, and how a system performs depends on the water, the plumbing and the care it gets. We describe typical results honestly, but we do not promise a specific outcome for your home. Where treatment is carried out, the terms of the installation and any warranty are set out in your written agreement.

Advice and the chat assistant

General information on this site, and answers from the chat assistant, are for general guidance about water quality and treatment. They are not a professional inspection, medical advice, or a substitute for testing your own water.

Our association

Ideal Water Treatments is associated with Leaf Home Water Solutions. Equipment and installation for some work may be supplied or carried out through that company and its partners.
